All today and yesterday my modem has been restting, and it’s been cutting me off. Well once it got back in play, I went to get some help from Charter… Here is what happened.
I asked if there were any service issues in my area and… my connection was closed due to network problems.

Haha, Charter is the same company that was originally going to setup my cable internet about a year ago. The guy showed up to set it up, got everything hooked up and then it didn’t work. He went out to the box at the street, pulled on some cable and apparently it was so eroded it broke. He then explained that their field techs would need to come out and fix the cables underground. He said his supervisor would be calling to set this up.
After 3 days, still no call. So I called Customer Support to see what I could find out. I explained the situation to the support rep and she had to go talk to her supervisor. After holding for like 20 minutes she told me that her supervisor needed to contact the field supervisor and call me back. Of course I never got a call back.
The next day, I called again. This time they blamed the field supervisor for not calling the support supervisor back. Needless to say I NEVER heard from them.
Fortunately Time Warner took over in my area, and they setup my new internet last week. Ironically enough, they discovered that the reason the Charter line didn’t work was because the douche bag who came out to install it hooked it up to the TV line. Charter = EPIC FAIL!
